Detailed Description

 

A beautiful cabinet specimen with clustered aggregates of lustrous icy-blue barite crystals. These crystals are sharp, glassy, translucent to transparent, with good colour. Great with the matrix at the base. In excellent condition, with a few incomplete crystals and rubs (on the display side, lower left on the piece, not obvious if displayed at optimal angle) - these are insignificant relative to this piece and all the tips across the “horizon” of the specimen are perfect. This specimen is from a 2013 find of amazing top-quality blue barites at Jebel Ouichane. A super display specimen.
