This crystal plate hosts sharp, transparent, colourless octahedral fluorite crystals. At first glance from a distance, the lustre looks a bit frosted, but on closer look, it is bright, with tiny geometric etch patterns and indentations all over the surfaces. The crystals have small modifying faces representing cubic and dodecehedral forms as well. In excellent condition - no damage, and even at the periphery only one small incomplete crystal. I would display this plate mounted so that it stands upright, as in the first photo. The third photograph is oriented such that the plate is lying down on the glass, and compared to the first photo, it's as if taken from almost above the specimen - the large crystal at lower left is the same one as features at the top in the first photo. A beautiful display specimen of Dal'negorsk octahedral fluorite.
