Beautiful sharp, lustrous deep red rutile crystals, showing a reticulated twinning pattern. The crystals are terminated and under a good light show their colour wonderfully. In excellent condition – no damage. This is a John S. White reference specimen and his label is included.

A gorgeous spray of bladed stibnite crystals with sparkling barite crystals in a beautiful combination. In excellent condition, this specimen was collected in the 1980s. A beauty!

Detailed Description This is a major zircon specimen. At 3 cm across (2.6 cm on edge), it is a remarkable crystal for a red zircon, particularly with this lustre and sharp form. It is the largest fine crystal I have seen from this 2017 Astor Valley find. The crystal grades from a deep wine-red to […]

Detailed Description This specimen is like an otherworldly landscape of chrysocolla on malachite pseudomorphs after azurite. (As discussed in the full description below, I suspect its formation history is quite complex.) The pseudomorphs on this specimen are quite thin and I suspect that no original malachite remains. In excellent condition, minute chips in a couple […]

Detailed Description This chrysocolla specimen has superb colour and form. The specimens from this find are chrysocolla on malachite pseudomorphs after azurite (as discussed in the full description below, I suspect its formation history is quite complex.) This one is particularly illustrative of the history of formation – two of the pseudomorphs are incomplete, with […]

Detailed Description This specimen is a forest of pseudomorphs – a very three-dimensional piece. It is chrysocolla, on malachite pseudomorphs after azurite (as discussed in the full description below, I suspect its formation history is quite complex.) This piece features great underlying pseudomorphs, with striking blue chrysocolla. In excellent condition – only three small pseudos […]

This specimen is a thin plate hosting clusters of rich deep green brochantite crystals. Nice contrast with the matrix, and pretty small needle-like lighter green crystals. The brochantite crystals are sharp and lustrous. In exceptional condition, no damage. A high-quality, aesthetic brochantite.

This is a plate of crystals that formed in a narrow seam where many of the crystal terminations did not have room to develop. The undeveloped terminations are bright green, with a frosty crystallization texture visible with magnification. These give this specimen more green than most of the brochantite specimens with these more prismatic crystals. […]

This is an aesthetic group of brochantite crystals – sharp, lustrous, dark green with great colour. Super under the lights. A very nice look, the crystals give an impression of radiating outwards around the periphery. In excellent condition, very few missing tips visible upon close inspection. This is a great brochantite!

This is a beautiful cluster of sharp, lustrous, deep green brochantite crystals. Super colour, particularly under the lights. In excellent condition, a couple of missing tips can be found upon close inspection with magnification. Gorgeous!

This specimen is highly distinctive, featuring a small number of prismatic brochantite crystals on a pale matrix. The largest crystal is 1.6 cm. These brochantite crystals are sharp, with bright glassy lustre and dark with green internal highlights. In excellent condition – the central crystal has a minor rub and three crystals, one tiny, are […]

A top aesthetic brochantite specimen, featuring a large central crystal, smaller complimentary crystals and acicular crystals. The main crystal measures 1.9 x 0.5 x 0.4 cm. These brochantite crystals are sharp and lustrous, with green highlights. In exceptional condition, no damage as displayed (a missing tip is in a recess, and a couple crystals lower […]
