Gmelinite crystals up to 1.2 cm cover this specimen – the piece is entirely gmelinite. The crystals are sharp and lustrous, with beautiful faces, including many glassy triangles! Beautiful clustered gmelinite crystals up to 1.2 cm. These are sharp, lustrous gmelinite crystals, with a group that stands up in the middle of the specimen, however it is oriented. This is a wonderful specimen, featuring a perfect 1.1 cm pink gmelinite crystal at the top of a cluster of smaller crystals. This gmelinite is sharp and glassy, a perfect crystal. The form is dominated by three main triangles (rather than more evenly hexagonal) and it is quite reminiscent of the form of a benitoite. […]

This is an impressive plate – there are lots of sharp gmelinite crystals here! The largest gmelinite crystal is 1.0 cm. The crystals are oriented at random, so there are glassy triangular faces while other crystals are oriented edge-on. In excellent condition, no damage. This is a gorgeous, top-level blue barite. A thick group of horizontal crystals measuring 10.7 cm hosts clusters of slightly diverging lustrous crystals emerging from the top.
