Description

A perfect golden barite crystal (0.6 cm) perched on dolomite crystals from the Newfoundland Zinc Mine, Daniel’s Harbour, Newfoundland, N.L., Canada. This mine has been closed for a long time, and we don’t often see great specimens available from there. This barite crystal is exquisite – it is transparent and in pristine condition. From the Steve Szilard collection, he collected this specimen himself. This one is a gem!
