This is a beautiful group of fresh pale green datolite crystals up to 1.5 cm, sprinkled with a sparse coating of microscopic datolite, giving sparkle like a morning frost. The datolite crystals have a super glassy lustre. In excellent condition – only one very small nick near the top (and obviously the crystals at the periphery are incomplete where the specimen was attached). Small crystals of calcite and tetrahedrite-coated chalcopyrite dot the piece too. Stands on its own for display as photographed. Sweet specimen.
