This specimen features elbaite crystals perched on a quartz crystal. The elbaite crystals have sharp, lustrous, striated prism faces and matte terminations. They are dark olive green, opaque lower down and with a strong light behind, one can see translucent olive transitioning to a lighter bluish zone near the termination. The small elbaite crystal in front is slightly curved (and terminated). In excellent condition. Stands perfectly for display as photographed. A really sweet, aesthetic piece.
