Location: Two Islands, Cumberland Co., Nova Scotia, Canada
Size: 9.7 x 6.0 x 4.1 cm

Description

This is a good-sized extracted vein section, with the gmelinite vein contacting the basalt on each side, and in the middle the crystal cavity hosts beautiful sharp pink gmelinite crystals. The crystals are sharp and glassy, up to 1.2 cm. In excellent condition, with a couple of incomplete crystals at the perimeter. Displays nicely.
