Hematite

Specimen # 100617
Mineral: Hematite
Location: N'Chwaning II Mine, Kalahari Manganese Fields, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Size: 5.8 x 4.2 x 1.9 cm

Description

This specimen is a group of black mirrors! Brilliant sharp hematite crystals are clustered on a plate – hematite does not get more lustrous than this. These are beautiful complex crystals. In excellent condition – a contact at the back on the right, and tiny chips and rubs in a couple of spots, not at all distracting and in fact hard to pick out. This is an incredible hematite.
