Detailed Description

This piece hosts a vug of vibrantly-coloured, highly lustrous erythrite crystals - they are sharp and transparent to translucent. Great contrast with the surrounding matrix. The crystals are up to 0.8 cm. In excellent condition, a couple of bent tips and some incomplete crystals around the periphery. The internal colour in these crystals just jumps out under the lights - really super.

Erythrite crystals from Bou Azzer are generally regarded as the finest in the world.
