A gorgeous specimen of azurite from Millpillas, featuring a strikingly aesthetic arrangement for one of these. The largest azurite crystal (2.4 cm, sits nearly horizontally, as I would display it ) forms the base for an incredible azurite crystal that stands up almost perpendicular to the larger one. This smaller (1.4 cm) crystal is amazing with sharp, straight crystal forms. The azurite crystals are a beautiful deep blue, a bit more vibrant than the darkest ones. Some small spots on the specimen show evidence of some pseudomorphism to malachite, giving an intense green accent to the piece.  This specimen is in  excellent condition - there is no damage from the display angle, and a couple of small nicks are evident as the specimen is rotated. This is a super, distincitve, top-calibre azurite!
