This is a nest of beautiful sharp. deep green brochantite crystals perched on the top of thin plate of matrix. These brochantites came from narrow seams - on this one you can see lower on the piece where it was against the other side of the seam - not a lot of room for crystals to grow. But the crystals on this one sure had enough room - they are just superb. Unlike the super-delicate fibrous Milpillas brochantites of the past, this find was chartacterized by very different,  thick, lustrous crystals with excellent terminations. This specimen is in excellent condition - no damage. A top-quality specimen from this find, these are gorgeous brochantite crystals!
