Detailed Description

A beautiful combination of these minerals, clear slender quartz crystals are accompanied by rhombohedral ankerite crystals and dodecahedral pyrite crystals. In excellent condition. A very pretty piece with lots of sparkle.

About These Specimens from the Mésage Mine

The Mésage Mine was originally explored in the early-nineteenth century for iron, and the underground workings have been abandoned since the late-nineteenth century. French collector Grégoire de Bodinat recently collected these beautiful specimens at the Mésage Mine.
