Ordering

Please note that all prices on the website are given in Canadian dollars.

Ordering from us could not be easier – if you are in Canada or the U.S., the easiest and fastest way is to just add the desired specimen(s) to your cart and proceed to checkout. If you would prefer to order over the phone, this is fine too. Of course if you have any questions about any specimen, I would love to hear from you. Email is always the fastest way to find me (you can use my direct email or the form at Contact Us).

International Orders: If you are ordering from a jurisdiction other than Canada or the U.S., please email me either using the form at Contact Us,  or directly.

All orders by Canadian residents are subject to HST/GST. If you are ordering through the website, these amounts will be automatically calculated and added for your jurisdiction within Canada.

If you are ordering from a jurisdiction outside of Canada, you are responsible for the payment of all applicable import/customs duties, tariffs, brokerage fees and taxes, if any are applicable.

Our system has been configured to automatically remove from availability any specimen once payment has been processed. If a specimen is acquired other than through the website ordering system, it will be promptly removed from availability as well. However, it is possible that more than one person may wish to acquire the same specimen, particularly in the context of new updates. It is even possible that orders may be placed simultaneously by two people for the same specimen. (I wish there was a way to avoid the possibility of any issue of people wanting the same specimen, but it seems this is not possible.) Time priority will be given in the case of orders for the same specimen. If a specimen is ordered and it is no longer available, you may choose an alternate or otherwise a refund will be given. If you have a preferred alternate at the time of your order, please let me know.

Shipping

All orders will be shipped via Canada Post’s parcel services unless you wish to make an alternative arrangement. In Canada, the parcel will arrive within 2-9 business days. If you are in the U.S., the parcel will be sent by Small Packet Air service and will arrive in 5-8 business days.

If you are in any other country, we will be happy to discuss shipping with you when you place your order. A parcel by Small Packet Air service will arrive to most international destinations in 6-10 business days.  Parcels to Australia-Pacific and far east Asia may either be sent by surface (takes longer) or may ship by air.  Depending on the cost for your package, there may be an additional cost.

A fee of $10.00 will be added to your order for postage for the first specimen and an additional $1.00 will be added for each additional specimen. These fees will be automatically added during the checkout process.

If you would like to have your specimen(s) shipped via courier or another alternative more expensive method (such as one with tracking for the U.S. and other international destinations), please complete the order in the usual way and let me know at the time you order. We will obtain a quote for you and let you know the difference to be paid by you for the increased cost.

Please note that although the above fees will almost always be adequate for the services described above, we may contact you to request extra postage and/or discuss alternative methods of shipment in the event of a very heavy or large shipment.

We ship specimens promptly.  If we foresee any delay we will of course let you know!
