Calcite with Analcime

Specimen # 102062
Mineral: Calcite with Analcime
Location: Calcite with Analcime, Cape Split, Blomidon Peninsula, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada
Size: 3.9 x 3.8 x 2.9 cm

This is a very unusual specimen for this locality – it consists of intergrown calcite crystals associated with sharp spakling analcime crystals and a sharp lustrous stilbite blade. The calcite crystals are complex. In excellent condition, no damage. A really neat calcite specimen for Cape Split.
