Description

Detailed Descriptions

This is a beautiful combination of celestine crytals and sparkling sulphur crystals. The celestine crystals are colourless and range from translucent to transparent – they are sharp and lustrous. The sulphur crystals are small, sharp and lustrous. The celestine is bright under UV light and displays good phosphorescence (fourth and fifth photos, respectively). In excellent condition, one incomplete sulphur (there are also incomplete crystals at the matrix at the back). The key with this piece is displaying it to best advantage – it leans a bit forward and the higher the display shelf the better. On a higher shelf it looks awesome, as photographed. It is a really nice specimen from this closed locality.
