Chabazite

Specimen # 100660
Mineral: Chabazite
Location: Wasson's Bluff, Cumberland Co., Nova Scotia, Canada
Size: 6.0 x 4.0 x 3.5 cm

Description

Matrix specimen of sharp, lustrous chabazite crystals to 0.8 cm. These crystals are translucent and twinned, with beautiful growth patterns and a pleasant colour. In very good condition – for the most part no damage at all, but one crystal missing at the lower centre, and a couple are not complete at either side where this piece was removed from the rock.  A really nice example of this morphology for chabazite, with nice colour ad excellent crystal quality.
