Chabazite

Specimen # 100658
Mineral: Chabazite
Location: Chabazite, Wasson's Bluff, Cumberland Co., Nova Scotia, Canada
Size: 2.8 x 2.4 x 2.0 cm

Description

This is a beautiful little matrix group of chabazite crystals to 1.4 cm – a thumbnail-sized specimen. These intergrown  crystals are sharp and lustrous.  In excellent condition – no damage, except that the crystals at one lower corner of the specimen are not complete, where they were attached to the surrounding rock from which it was removed. This corner would angle back and out of view as I would mount this piece.  A super sharp colourful chabazite.
