Location: Chabazite, Heulandite, Wasson's Bluff, Cumberland Co., Nova Scotia, Canada
Size: 3.0 x 2.2 x 1.2 cm

Description

This is a gorgeous thumbnail-sized chabazite.  Deep salmon-orange translucent chabazite crystals with excellent lustre, accompanied by small pearly heulandite crystals. This particular chabazite find was quite distinctive, particularly for the colour. In excellent condition Рno damage. This specimen was in the collection of well-known Nova Scotia collector Terry Collett, collected in 2008. A fantastic chabazite thumbnail.
