Location: Chabazite, Heulandite, Wasson's Bluff, Cumberland Co., Nova Scotia, Canada
Size: 3.0 x 2.2 x 1.2 cm

Description

This is a gorgeous thumbnail-sized chabazite.  Deep salmon-orange translucent chabazite crystals with excellent lustre, accompanied by small pearly heulandite crystals. This particular chabazite find was quite distinctive, particularly for the colour. In excellent condition – no damage. This specimen was in the collection of well-known Nova Scotia collector Terry Collett, collected in 2008. A fantastic chabazite thumbnail.
