Copper

Specimen # 100035
Mineral: Copper
Location: Bennet Brook (Colonial Copper Mine), Cap D'Or, Cumberland Co., Nova Scotia, Canada
Size: 4.9 x 2.1 x 0.1 cm

Description

Beautiful group of copper crystals all growing off of a central flat sipnel-law twinned crystal. This aesthetic specimen is particularly interesting because it shows very little coppery colour – where the copper itself is showing it is almost all bright and silvery-iridescent, and the rest has a nice cuprite red coating. Really nice piece.
