Description

This is a beauty – the elbaite crystal rises up with small albite crystals joining it to the large albite. The elbaite is sharp with lustrous prism faces and a matte termination, and the albite crystals hve a bright, glassy lustre. The elbaite is a dark crystal – with a strong light behind it, it is deep olive green with a thin lighter blue zone right at the tip. In excellent condition, no damage, and stands perfectly for display as photographed. An aesthetic pairing of these contrasting minerals – really nice.
