Specimen # 200735
Mineral: Fluorapophyllite
Location: Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India
Size: 5.1 x 4.5 x 3.7 cm

A super, blocky, doubly-terminated fluorapophyllite crystal perched perfectly on top of a stilbite pillar. The fluorapophyllite is sharp and lustrous, with fine striations on the prism faces. Internally, the crystal is translucent to transparent, with a green zone right down the middle. The fluorapophyllite crystal is in excellent condition, no damage, and one contact on the bottom edge of one termination. From the Gerald Panneton collection, this is a beauty!
