Fluorite

Specimen # 101200
Mineral: Fluorite
Location: Fluorite, Chebka Sidi Said, Midelt, Khenifra Province, Morocco
Size: 5.2 x 4.0 x 2.0 cm

Description

A group of yellow fluorite crystals up to 1.2 on edge is perched at one end of this plate of quartz covered-fluorite. Mounted upright as photographed, this is an incredibly aesthetic fluorite specimen. In exceptional condition – the main exposed fluorite crystals are perfect (some of the others are only partial, incomplete on the rear where the specimen was removed from the rock). The quartz crystals add sparkle, and the little cluster near the bottom is beautiful in its own right. This is a truly top-quality Moroccan yellow fluorite.
