Fluorite

Specimen # 200139
Mineral: Fluorite
Location: Fluorite, Xianghualing Mine, Linwu Co., Chenzhou, Hunan, China
Size: 5.2 x 3.7 x 3.3 cm

Description

A super penetration-twin of light green fluorite stands up over surrounding small fluorite crystals and contrasing white quartz. The fluorite is transparent and looks like a green twinned ice cube (with sharper edges…). It has internal play of light, reflecting off of planes inside the crystals. In excellent condition, no damage, with incomplete crystals at the periphery where this was attached. This is an exquisite, top-quality fluorite.
