Description

This is a thin plate of golden fluorite crystals with purple phantoms from Frohnau. The fluorite cubes have glossy lustre and are dotted with tiny aggregates of chalcopyrite crystals. In excellent condition, with contacts at the periphery where this was attached to other crystals. The crystals at the periphery are thin partial crystals, where they lifted from the rock underneath when this was removed – this is visible in the sixth photo. From the Gerald Panneton collection, this is an attractive fluorite specimen from a classic, historic locality!
