Location: Huangshaping Mine, Guiyang Co., Hunan Province, China

Description

The phantoms in the three main fluorite crystals on this piece are striking! They are sharp, bright, and can be seen without any particular lighting or need for close inspection – they are simply vivid. These main fluorites also contain beautiful inclusions. On the piece here are other smaller fluorites that exhibit different phantoms, proportionally smaller and darker. In excellent condition, very minor chipping visible with magnification, and there is a fracture in the back of the main crystal and the smallest of the three, neither is an issue from the display angle. This is an exemplary phantom specimen!
