Location: Gmelinite, Two Islands, Cumberland Co., Nova Scotia, Canada
Size: 5.2 x 3.8 x 1.3 cm

Description

This gorgeous miniature is a plate of sharp, lustrous gmelinite crystals to 1.0 cm. The crystals are pale orangey pink and very glassy, with excellent distinct bipyramidal form and the classic crystal growth triangles. In excellent condition – no damage.

From the collection of well-known Nova Scotia collector Terry Collett, this specimen was collected on April 27, 2009.
