Gmelinite

Specimen # 102584
Mineral: Gmelinite
Location: Two Islands, Cumberland Co., Nova Scotia, Canada
Size: 4.3 x 2.9 x 2.3 cm

Description

A group of excellent glassy gmelinite crystals up to 1.1 cm – top lustre and form. These gmelinite crystals are pink with perhaps the slightest tint of a peach hue. In excellent condition, no damage, one incomplete crystal at the outer right-hand edge where this was attached. Stands perfectly for display as photographed. The piece is more three-dimensional than a plate, so the main crystals all stand out nicely. A beauty.
