Description

A cluster of hematite after magnetite crystals, combinint sharp well-defined octahedra with complex, elongated skeletal crystals. The piece is dark steel-grey with nice metallic lustre under the lights.The surfaces of these crystals are dotted with tiny sparkling hematite crystals. In excellent condition. This specimen from the John S. White collection looks great in both orientations – supported to stand as in the first two photos or sitting horizontally, it’s a fine display piece.
