Description

This hematite pseudomorph after magnetite features a particularly sharp octahedron, along with larger skeletal-growth crystals. It is dark steel-grey with good metallic lustre under the lights. The surfaces of the crystals are dotted with lustrous, sparkling plates of well-crystallized hematite. In excellent condition, no damage. A beautifully-defined specimen from this find.
