Prehnite

Specimen # 102566
Mineral: Prehnite
Location: Taza, Fès-Meknès, Morocco
Size: 6.6 x 4.4 x 2.9 cm

Description

This piece is comprised of intergrown radiating fans of light green prehnite crystals and small amount of quartz as well. These prehnite crystals are sharp with lustrous, glassy terminations. In excellent condition – no damage. About photo orientation – the third photo is at about a 45 degree angle to the plane of the specimen. A beautiful prehnite!

Please note: these prehnite photographs are colour-balanced to daylight (sunny day, shade – same as all photos on the website). The hue of prehnite certainly depending on the light source – under a warmer light (for example, a 50W halogen bulb), they are a warmer shade of light green.
