Description

This specimen features a sharp, lustrous 2.7 cm pyrite crystal in phyllite, collected by Herb Corbett in 1968. It’s a figured piece, in Rocks & Minerals Vol. 87, No. 2: 181, in John White’s very first Mineral Mysteries column. The crystal has been reattached to the phyllite.
