Quartz

Specimen # 102841
Mineral: Quartz
Location: Liliana Mine, Mun. de Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico
Size: 3.8 x 3.2 x 1.5 cm

Description

This is a fantastic specimen from the Liliana Mine – one crystal has a complex sceptre, one has a simple sceptre with a tiny reverse-sceptre on top, and the final of the three main crystals is a simple, terminated first generation crystal. The sceptre heads are glassy, with bright lustre and the faintest hint of amethystine hue. In excellent condition – no damage.  From the John S. White quartz collection, an encapsulation of the habits at the Liliana Mine in a single piece.
