Quartz (inclusions)

Specimen # 201026
Mineral: Quartz
Location: Curvelo, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Size: 8.8 x 7.0 x 3.2 cm

A sparkling jumble of intergrown, doubly-terminated quartz crystals. These crystals are sharp with bright lustre and with neat inclusions. The main portion of each of the crystals contains a lighter-coloured textured inclusion, with a dark green inclusion closer to a few terminations on the piece. A cool specimen from the John S. White collection.
