Detailed Description

A beautiful group of light purple amethyst crystals. These crystas are sharp, highly lustrous, and translucent to transparent. One near the top centre has a great little reverse-sceptre habit termination. In excellent condition, no damage, one crystal has a contact at the periphery. This is a particularly pretty specimen from this find.

About These Amethyst Specimens

These beautiful amethyst specimens are from a new occurrence, discovered in late 2017. They were found by farmers, at the edge of a field area, at the base of bordering hills. There isn’t more specific information about the locality at this time – I’m told that this is because it is in an unnamed remote area of Potosi, not near to any named settlement or named geographic feature. The specimens in this update are the best I’ve seen from the locality to date.
