A cluster of bright, glassy, light purple amethyst crystals, featuring a prominent reverse-sceptre-habit crystal. These crystals are sharp, lustrous and translucent to transparent. In excellent condition, no damage. A really nice piece, the reverse-sceptre makes this one.

About These Amethyst Specimens
These beautiful amethyst specimens are from a new occurrence, discovered in late 2017. They were found by farmers, at the edge of a field area, at the base of bordering hills. There isn’t more specific information about the locality at this time – I’m told that this is because it is in an unnamed remote area of Potosi, not near to any named settlement or named geographic feature. The specimens in this update are the best I’ve seen from the locality to date.
