Description

A large, showy specimen of amethyst from the John S. White collection. It is comprised of amethyst “flowers”, with sharp, lustrous crystals. A challenge to capture, in a photo, how great this piece is  – I’ve tried to convey the translucence in the second, fourth and fifth photos, and the lustre in the sixth and seventh photos. In excellent condition – this beautiful piece graced John’s main quartz display cabinet.
