Description

This cabinet-sized specimen hosts a nice combination of carmel-yellow wulfenite crystals and silky green balls of mimetite. Unlike most specimens from this find, this one is super-free of damage (you can find a couple of nicks and missing tips if you search for them, but they are trivial and no issue). The matrix has been reinforced at the back (the limonite matrix on this material can be quite friable).

The combination of the two minerals is aesthetic, and the nice little cluster with radiating appearance near the top centre is the centre of focus. However what really makes this one stand out is the top calibre of the wulfenite crystals themselves – these are lustrous, translucent crystals with brilliant termination faces that truly sparkle. Gorgeous top quality specimen!
