Specimen # 200441
Mineral: Cerussite
Location: Tsumeb, Mine, Otjikoto Region, Namibia
Size: 5.9 x 3.4 x 2.5 cm

Description

A plate of matrix covered with sharp, lustrous, transparent cerussite crystals. These crystals are beautiful complex twins and look wonderful with a little magnification. In excellent condition – one small crystal incomplete and a couple tiny chips (the back of the tip of the large crystal is a natural contact, not damage). From the Pete Richards collection (#5747) and formerly in from the collection of Lazslo and Elsa Horvath (both labels with specimen), a classy, classic specimen.
