Specimen # 102821
Mineral: Austinite
Location: Ojuela Mine, Mapimí, Durango, Mexico
Size: 10.3 x 5.0 x 4.3 cm

A cabinet specimen featuring green balls of austinite crystals. With magnification (just a loupe) one can easily see the forms of the austinite crystals comprising the balls. In excellent condition – pristine. From the Tracy Kimmel collection, and formerly Peter Megaw, this is an absolutely superb austinite!

NB: The colour representation in the still photographs is more accurate (in natural daylight) than the colour in the video clip.
