Copper replacing Agate

Mineral: Copper replacing Agate
Location: Wolverine #2 Mine, Houghton Co., Michigan, USA
Size: 2.5 x 2.2 x 0.5 cm

Description

A sliced nodule of agate, partially replaced with native copper. The sliced face is polished. From the Pete Richards collection, he acquired the piece from Tom Rosemeyer on June 2, 2014. A very nice specimen.
