Description

Detailed Description

A bundle of large parallel crystals of translucent, intense red crocoite. The prism faces are sharp and lustrous. At the terminations, the crystals terminate into the goethite in which the crystals grew. In excellent condition, a couple of contacts (note: the small lighter-coloured areas at the termination are crystallized, not damaged). A beautiful, colourful crocoite specimen.
