Description

A good-sized elbaite from the famous Cruzeiro Mine. This crystal is colour-zoned, with hues of green, bluish-green and a core of pale pink. The prism faces are finely striated and lustrous, and the termination is a simple pinacoid with matte lustre. In excellent condition (very minor chipping). From the Pete Richards collection, a beautiful tourmaline at a great price for this size.
