Description

Detailed Description

Bright yellow ettringite crystals in a vug of sparkling manganese oxide. The ettringite crystals are actually zoned, with a thin transparent outer zone and a brightly coloured internal zone. At the tip of the larger crystal, the outer layer is missing, revealing the internal layer. In excellent condition, a fine example of this unusual species.
