Description

Detailed Description

This piece features sharp, lustrous hemimorphite crystals rising from a gossan matrix. Unlike some very thin, fragile hemimorphites, these are robust prisms. The largest crystal is a parallel growth bundle, with beautiful terminations. The smaller crystals around the piece are water clear. The crystals are in excellent condition. The specimen itself includes spots where crystals are missing, but these are very low profile on the matrix and are not the area of focus – one’s eyes are drawn to the main crystals, which are beautiful!
