This quartz specimen is an exquisite green, thanks to underlying and included malachite. The original larger generation crystals are accompanied by – and some partly overgrown by – a second generation of smaller quartz crystals, many of which are green thanks to included malachite. The quartz crystals (both generations) are sharp and lustrous. In excellent condition, no damage. This piece is from the Tracy Kimmel collection, specifically, her superb quartz sub-collection. A gorgeous green quartz!
