Siderite

Specimen # 200432
Mineral: Siderite
Location: Jesse Mine, N. of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, USA
Size: 6.8 x 5.2 x 4.6 cm

Description

Sharp crystals of red siderite clustered together. The red seems to be a thin top siderite layer – I’ve never seen one like it – it’s really great. In excellent condition. From the Pete Richards collection. A beautiful and unusual siderite specimen from an unusual locality!
