Detailed Description

This smithsonite vug is all about colour – Kelly colour doesn’t get much better than this! The smithsonite is botryoidal, with good lustre. One can see at the front lower margin that the colour is actually zoned. Although the smithsonite is incomplete all around the margins, this is the nature of this piece – the balls in the middle are complete. It’s a big splash of colour in the display case.
