Location: Tsumeb Mine, Otjikoto Region, Namibia
Size: 5.2 x 4.0 x 3.2 cm

Description

Sharp crystals of classic pink smithsonite from Tsumeb. The large crystal standing up over the top of the specimen (1.7 cm) is fully crystallized, including around the back – it is a somewhat flattened rhomb with some complexities on the backside (the top corner of the back is complete and crystallized, not damaged. In excellent condition overall, minor edge chipping if you examine closely. From the Pete Richards collection (#1035), a beautiful Tsumeb smithsonite.
