Detailed Description A beautiful classic stilbite bowtie perched on sharp, lustrous white fluorapophyllite crystals. This is stilbite-Ca. In excellent condition, no damage, contacted underneath and a small amount on the back. From the personal collection of Rock Currier, no. 2069, acquired in 1973 in a shipment from Nell Rowe, the wife of a teacher at […]

Detailed Description A sharp lustrous parallel growth epidote crystal (singly-terminated) stands in sharp contrast to this light yellow ball of stilbite crystals. The stilbite crystals are translucent with glassy lustre, and the stilbite is complete all-around with no point of attachment, interrupted only by epidote crystals. In very good condition, there is an incomplete spot […]

The smaller of two stilbite ball specimens in this lot, from the Diamonkara find. This one features a complete stilbite cluster, shaped a bit like a thick wheel, with a compact central ball – very cool. Terminated epidotes in association. In excellent condition – no damage. Nice golden yellow, a beautiful minature.

Beautiful miniature of yellow stilbite on epidote crystals with a prehnite ball underneath. It is a floater. Top lustre and quality (no damage on the front, only a couple small spots on the back and some incomplete small epidotes.) This specimen is particularly visually interesting because the “ball” is not fully a ball in front, […]

Unique minature with a ball of yellow stilbite cryustals perched on epidote crystals on matrix, and offset by a great sharp epidote contact twin. In excellent condition – the stlibite is a good yellow with good lustre, and the epidote has good lustre too. Great specimen with character.

Beautiful pair of stilbite balls of the best yellow colour. The largest ball is 3.7 cm across, and the stilbite on this specimen has excellent lustre. Associated are balls of small pale green prehnite and some minor epidote. in excellent condition – minor chipping at the edge of the smaller stilbite aggregate. Sits perfectly for […]

Super-aesthetic specimen with the main stilbite group (3.9 cm across) perched at the top of epidote crystals on matrix and centred on one epidote crystal. The stilbite has great colour and lustre, and is a little different, in that it is a thick radial fan (not a full ball) and so you can see the […]

This is the best of the lot – a gorgeous 6.0 cm ball comprised entirely of rich yellow stilbite crystals, adorned with terminated epidote crystals, and perched up against a matrix hosting more epidote crystals. The stilbite is in exceptional condition. There are a few small white spots on the stilbite ball – with magnification […]

This is a pretty plate of golden stilbite crystals with pinkish chabazite crystals. Wonderful colour. In excellent condition, no damage – this specimen has been stabilized from behind (these plates would crumble and be lost if not stabilzed when collected). Beautiful Bay of Fundy stilbite. About the Minerals of the Bay of Fundy, including Wasson’s […]

Beautiful plate of golden yellow stilbite crystals with chabazite twins in association. The stilbites are sharp with great lustre. In excellent condition – no damage. Some chabazites at the periphery are not complete. A very pretty specimen, with just super colour, so different from common pale off-white stilbites.

This piece features light yellow “wheat-sheaf” clusters of stilbite crystals, accompanied by pale pinkish orange chabazite crystals. The chabazite crystals are penetration twins. In excellent condition, one stilbite appears incomplete and one chabazite at the outer periphery is broken, but I would display with this at the bottom. This specimen is from the collection of […]

A highly distinctive specimen, this piece features deep honey-golden-brown clusters of stilbite crystals perched on a cream-coloured siliceous matrix. There are small orangey-brown chabazite crystals in association as well. In excellent condition – two incomplete stilbite groups at the rear periphery of the specimen as I would display this and a couple of incomplete chabazites […]
